Creation of Virtual Institute in Spanish and First Online Course

The Institute was established as a Spanish language online platform for training courses on topics centred around responsibility. The first, « Responsibility, Climate Change and COP » was developed with and taught by A-Respons network partners and accredited through the Citizenship and Democracy Institute. Out of 96 registered adult students, 40 from 10 countries met the minimum academic requirements to graduate. All students are involved in social, environmental citizens’ organizations, academia or activism against climate change and their work was enhanced by learnings from the course.
